Nothing Should Stand in the Way of Your Smile

“How much will my dental work cost?” We are asked this question frequently.

Many patients wonder how to afford major dental work without insurance coverage. The short answer is that no 2 dental procedures are exactly alike, and in order to provide you with an accurate cost, we will need to assess your individual situation.

All dental procedures are available and accessible through several dental financing options that we’re happy to accommodate.

Cooper Dental accepts most major cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Patients favor this option since they accumulate points on their credit card.

If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with us today.

Dentalcard Financing

We work with Canada’s patient financing company, Dentalcard, to help patients afford quality dental care, including cosmetic dentistry and orthodontic treatment..

Just about any dental procedure can be financed through Dentalcard.

Applying for dental financing does not incur up-front costs, or a deposit. With Dentalcard, your financing can be approved almost immediately, allowing you to pay for your procedure with ease.

Using HSA & HWT for Dental Care

Health Spending Accounts (HSA) and Health and Welfare Trusts (HWT) are incredible resources that can make dental care easier to afford.

These accounts are designed to cover a variety of health-related expenditures, including dental treatments, making it easier for you to prioritize your oral health without straining your budget.

Remember, though, every HSA and HWT plan is different. It’s important to check with your plan provider about what dental services are covered before scheduling appointments.

What Is an HSA?

An HSA is a tax-free account established primarily for the purpose of paying or reimbursing qualified medical and dental expenses. This means you may use funds from your HSA to pay for a range of dental services such as cleanings, fillings, crowns, or even cosmetic procedures.

Not only does this help alleviate immediate costs, but it also provides the freedom to schedule necessary treatments when they’re needed most instead of when finances allow.

Similarly, a Health and Welfare Trust is an arrangement where employers set aside funds on behalf of their employees to provide various types of benefits, dental care being one of them.

If you have an HWT through your employer, rest assured, knowing that a portion of these funds can be allocated towards your dental needs.

Dental & Orthodontic Insurance

Insurance providers, in some cases, might offer orthodontic insurance outside your regular dental coverage.

If you do not have orthodontic insurance, we’d be happy to work with you to create a flexible payment plan.

Please speak to your insurance provider for more information about your coverage.
