Dr. Deborah Cooper completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1992 from the University of Alberta. With over 30 years of experience in general dentistry, her passion for her profession is evident in how she strives for excellence. She attends global dental courses to stay up-to-date on the most current developments in dentistry.

Dr. Cooper has a special interest in conservative aesthetic dentistry and creating natural-looking smiles with healthy bites. She does this by moving teeth with orthodontic treatment, rejuvenating teeth with aesthetic veneers and crowns and/or adding teeth with aesthetic implant crowns. For Dr. Cooper, individual patient care has always been her top priority. She takes personal time with every patient to explain the best treatment plan for them, both short term and long term. Many of her patients have been with her for well over 30 years. She also values her amazing team and has many long-standing team members.

Outside of her dental career, she focuses on general health and well-being. If she’s not in the office, she is travelling the globe. You may be lucky enough to see some of her photography books from her destinations when you visit the office!

Dr. Hadi has been practicing dentistry since 2016. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Alberta. He has worked for several years at a dental office in Red Deer before bringing his professional skills to Cooper Dental. Dr. Hadi’s passion is to provide each and every patient the opportunity to enjoy the pride and self confidence that comes with having a beautiful smile. He is also excited to provide quality dental care to patients of all ages. Dr. Hadi’s passion for learning never stops, he continues to attend courses and seminars locally and around the world. Outside of the office, he likes to spend time with his fiancé, friends and family. He also enjoys travelling, golfing and playing tennis.

Kelly was raised in Kenora, Ontario. She completed her Registered Dental Assisting Level 2 program in Thunder Bay and Western University in 1997. Kelly graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Manitoba in 2003. She has been practicing dental hygiene in the Calgary area for 16 years and has been in the dental field for over 23 years.

Kelly has completed her soft tissue laser course, as well as the prescriber’s authorization course in order to give dental prescriptions. She loves to build long-term relationships with her returning patients. She also likes to take the time to ensure that all patients are comfortable while in the office and that they leave with a smile.

In Kelly’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kids. Whenever she can, Kelly likes to hop on a plane for a quick trip to Vegas or back home to see family and spend time around Lake of the woods.

Meaghan was born and raised in New Brunswick. She graduated from the dental hygiene program at John Abbott College in Montreal, and worked there until returning to New Brunswick to further her studies in psychology. She has been practicing dental hygiene in Calgary since 2013 and has over 15 years of experience.

Meaghan is very passionate about life-long learning. She is authorized to administer local anesthesia, and has sought out several courses to hone her periodontal therapy skills. She loves cultivating and fostering lasting relationships with her patients and their families. Knowing that trust is the foundation for the success of her patients’ oral health, she prioritizes education and comfort during hygiene visits.

When not at work, Meaghan enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and Whippet. Her hobbies include learning to play the piano, practicing yoga and baking for her family.

Carlie is a born and raised Calgarian. She resided in Toronto while attending school at The Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and Auxiliaries, she graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2021. She is certified in the use of Guided Biofilm Therapy and is passionate about attending continuing education courses to further her ability.

At our practice, Carlie evaluates the oral health of our patients and educates them on ways they can improve and maintain their oral hygiene routine so they can experience the full functionality of their smile. She prides herself on making them feel comfortable during their regular dental visits and designing individual home care strategies to help maintain their dental health between professional cleanings.

When she’s not at the office, Carlie enjoys spending time outdoors. Especially in northern Saskatchewan where she has a remote cabin you can only access by portage or float plane!

Kimberly received her Registered Dental Assisting Level 2 education from the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, BC, in 1997 and her Provisional Prosthodontic Module from Okanagan University College in Kelowna, BC, in 2000. During her 23 years as a dental assistant, she has had the opportunity to gain experience assisting in many fields such as periodontics, oral surgery, implants and crown and bridge. She is always looking forward to learning and expanding her dental skills.

Kimberly enjoys meeting new people in the office and helps make them feel comfortable and at ease—she especially loves working with children!

In her free time, you can find her at the rink watching/volunteering for her son’s hockey team or finding restaurant-quality recipes to make for her family.

Jena’s initial career path was in aviation. She immigrated from Thailand in 2021. At that time she changed her career path to dentistry and completed the Dental Assisting program at SAIT. She loves taking care of her patients to make sure that they get the best care all the time.

Jena loves playing sports such as badminton, swimming, and running. She is also a pet lover. She takes care of a two-year-old cat, Benimaru.

Andrea was born and raised in Colombia and has been living in Canada for over 23 years. She joined our team once she was ready to go back to the workplace after spending some beautiful years at home with her children. She has fallen in love with the dental industry and fully believes in what Cooper Dental stands for, “Every Smile Matters”.

Andrea takes a lot of pride and joy in her role as the Sterilization Technician. She understands the importance of what she does and looks forward to continuing to grow and develop in the dental field while providing excellent customer service as a contributing member of our team.

In her spare time, Andrea enjoys time with her husband, kids and two fur babies, Athena and Sora.

Alice has been part of Calgary’s Dental community for over 20 years. She started out as a Dental Administrator and evolved to managing multiple group practices. Alice has attended many dental courses in customer service and human behaviour. She continued on this path and completed the Dale Carnegie Leadership course.

Alice gained additional customer service skills from the airline industry, specifically Wardair, Canadian Airlines, and Westjet as a reservations sales agent/ airport agent and a training instructor.

Alice’s extensive background is perfect to manage both the Downtown and Cougar Ridge offices. She applies her exceptional customer service abilities towards our wonderful team and great patients.

Alice is the mother of two adult children and her mini ShihTsu/Poodle “Miss Angie Rose”. When Alice is not working, she loves to garden, DIY projects in her home and “Glamping” in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

Roberta is a native Calgarian. She has been working in the dental industry for over 16 years. She is the smiling face you see when you arrive and the same one to help you with all your administrative needs.  Roberta sees the good in everyone which allows her to provide the utmost passionate care to all patients.  

In her spare time Roberta enjoys writing poetry, sewing, practicing yoga, cooking and spending time with her husband, son and dog Duke! Roberta is a foodie, so if you need any restaurant tips, she is the one to go to.

Sasha is originally from the Ukraine and was raised in Toronto. In 2022 she relocated to Calgary. She brings a compassionate attitude to patient care, characterized by a welcoming demeanor. Collaborating closely with our skilled dental professionals, she ensures that every patient receives personalized attention and support.

Outside of work, Sasha finds joy in experiencing live music, painting, exploring the outdoors through hiking, and capturing the beauty of landscapes through photography.
